| ERH - Evaluation of resistance to hacking of communicating devices
ERH3 - NEW PLATFORMS
For new platforms (prototypes, lot 0) or former platforms with new major developments. The evaluation is based on a procedure whose main stages are as following: |
An innovative and rational approach
The methodology for evaluating the resistance to piracy of a new platform is based on a questionnaire sent to the manufacturer. The questionnaire has been specifically developed for this type of evaluation and contains 265 questions designed to determine with precision the level of resistance to piracy. |
A dedicated software program developed to support the method
Drawing conclusions from complex technical questionnaire can be very tricky because each answer may interact with another. PHONESEC has developed a dedicated software program capable of analysing responses in a particularly short processing time. |
Post marketing monitoring of the platform
Post-marketing monitoring is essential for the reliability of the evaluation process. Indeed, the emergence of a hacking tool capable of attacking the terminal will analyse the compliance of the answers provided by the manufacturer as well as any corrective measures needed to the platform itself. |
